Hike to Oeschinensee

On Saturday, 18 July 2026, Nepsis Switzerland organised a one-day hike to Oeschinensee, one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in Switzerland. 🏔️

The participants met in the morning at the cable car station in Kandersteg, from where they went up to the lake. They then walked the main trail around the lake at an easy pace, admiring the alpine scenery, and at midday they stopped along the way to eat together. The descent to Kandersteg took place in the course of the afternoon.

Father Ștefan, the coordinator of Nepsis Switzerland, accompanied the young people throughout the hike and held spiritual conversations with them, so that the day spent in the middle of nature was equally a day of exercise, of communion and of benefit for the soul.
