Pilgrimage to the Romanian military cemetery in Soultzmatt

Saturday, 22 June, began with the service of Matins, followed by the Divine Liturgy celebrated by His Grace Sofian Brașoveanul and His Grace Nectarie of Brittany, together with a group of priests and deacons.

At the heroes’ cemetery in Soultzmatt, the memorial service for all those who have fallen asleep and for the heroes of our country (Moșii de vară, the summer Saturday of the Souls) continued with the national anthems of Romania 🇷🇴 and France 🇫🇷 and with the laying of wreaths.

The volunteers of Nepsis Switzerland 🇨🇭 bought and placed a rose 🌹 and a tricolour ribbon on each of the 553 graves.

The day went on with the agape meal and a show of folk songs and dances.

Thank you to all the Nepsis members who donated for the flowers, and to the volunteers on the ground for their help!
