Second hiking-catechesis with Father Dionysius

On a Saturday, 17 September, a hike with catechesis took place in the mountains towards the summit of Le Moléson (2,002 m), together with Hieromonk Father Dionysius, the spiritual father of the Romanian women’s monastery “The Protection of the Mother of God” in Switzerland, canton of Fribourg. This is the second hike we are making together with Father Dionysius this year, as he is a great lover of the mountains and at the same time an exegete gifted by God with a deep understanding of the biblical passages.

The theme of the catechesis was the interpretation of chapter IX of Genesis, verses 18–27 (the curse of Canaan) — a continuation of the previous catechesis about Noah entering the ark and about self-emptying — the only way to truly know the voice of God and His will for us.
